Why Louis Vuitton Raises their Prices
Since luxury brands are constantly wanting their brand to stay premium in the eyes of the consumer, price increases are a well-known event in the luxury lovers’ calendars. If you’ve got an LV item on your wishlist, expect to pay more after a price increase, sometimes to the tune of many hundreds of pounds/dollars on one single item, as the above price increase tables demonstrate.
Luxury brands such as Louis Vuitton historically have around 2-3 prices a year, with 3 price increases a year being a more regular occurrence since 2020.
How To Beat Louis Vuitton Price Increases
If you don’t like the look of the new prices from Louis Vuitton (who wants to pay more, after all), there’s only one option and that is to shop pre-loved. Since Louis Vuitton only sells their products via their own website and stores, it means they can control the RRP and you won’t be able to get a genuine Louis Vuitton from anywhere else.
